We have now successfully completed our 2^nd round of applications to the above fund where 20 local organisations in membership with us here at CAD have shared £97,600 in grants.  The next round opens on the 1^st August and closes on 14th September.

Grants are available for members, from £500 to £5,000, possibly more for projects that can produce really good outcomes in line with the criteria below. 

Applications will be favoured where the project meets one or more of the following outcomes for the residents of Dacorum:

Improved access to local Arts, Culture, Heritage and creative activities.

Increased engagement with community activities.

Increased numbers of volunteers in all areas of Dacorum.

 Increased awareness of Dacorum as a “Place to live and work”.

 Improved perception of facilities/amenities.

 Increased users of facilities/amenities.

Improved perceived/experienced accessibility.

Improved Access to Sports events i.e. tournaments

Here are some of the projects you could be funded for:

• Support to provide and attract people to local arts, cultural, heritage and creative activities.
• Creation of and improvements to local green spaces, community gardens, watercourses and embankments, along with incorporating natural features into wider public spaces.
• Funding for local sports facilities, tournaments, teams and leagues; to bring people together.
• Improvements to town centres and high streets, including better accessibility for disabled people.
